We asked them why ocean conservation is a key part of their product, from the design to the charitable giving:

1. What initially inspired you to support SeaDoc Society?

We were inspired to become donors so that our kids might enjoy the beauty and abundance that the ocean provides for generations to come. Our friends Jennifer Hahn (Naturalist Writer) and Chris Moench (Potter) helped expose us to the great work of the SeaDoc Society.

2. What is your biggest concern about Salish Sea health?

The greatest concern for us is the loss of biodiversity in the Salish Sea. The vanishing Starfish and the struggling Orca Whales.

3. What are your favorite aspects of SeaDoc Society as an organization?

SeaDoc Society is bringing together groups that have similar goals to share knowledge that furthers the impact of their important work. Working together is the key to making a greater impact.

4. Why should others care about ocean health?

Our oceans are the cornerstone of our planet. Respecting the oceans and keeping them healthy will positively impact the rest of the planet’s health for generations.

5. What’s your favorite species in the Salish Sea?

Orca Whales are powerful teachers that we greatly respect. Salmon! How can we live without Salmon? They nourish the mountains thru the rivers and connect the oceans to the forests!
